Wapiti were introduced to Fiordland, New Zealand, in 1905 by President Theodore Roosevelt. Although the gifted herd originated from Yellowstone National Park, what exists today is a hybrid of elk and red deer. Many Kiwi hunters regard this hunt as the pinnacle of hunting in New Zealand. In this self-documented film of triumph and adventure, Tim Schulpen and Jae Smith lead us through a journey of what finding adventure truly means.
