Bowhunting is Trail’s life, and he knew it early. It has been nearly 25 years since Trail picked up a bow and started hunting with a bow in hand. Through all his years of bowhunting, he has learned that bowhunting is always a mix of emotions filled with elation, excitement, accomplishment, and purpose. Many hunts out west pose their own challenges that hunters have to battle, whether it be the weather, animal behavior, or just random life occurrences. One thing that stands true, no matter the hunt to Trail, is that by understanding just how hard bow hunting is, Trail often confronts the reality that he will usually have one good chance to make it happen.
