Most hunters wait for the rut, but that’s when the woods are full of pressure and fewer bucks are left. This early season, Levi Remole did the opposite. Levi slipped within 50 yards of a buck’s bedding area, stayed completely undetected, and tagged a northern Missouri buck named Double Wide.

Levi was able to enter, hunt, and exit near the bedding area without alerting the deer, proving that with the right plan, you can tag a mature buck even before the pre-rut begins.
