On this episode of Deer Season 25 we are in the Show-Me state with Mark Drury as he is after one of the largest Missouri deer he has ever hunted with a rifle. A giant whitetail he calls, “The Ghost In The Machine”.

This story starts back in 2021 when Mark got his first pictures of this buck. Over the years there have been thousands of photos of this deer, but Mark never laid eyes on him until the fall of 2024. This season with a perfect weather front at the same time of year, Mark set out alone with the camera, and was fortunate enough to notch his tag on “The Ghost in the Machine” Making this hunt his first ever self filmed buck.
