Western Oregon may not be the first place that comes to mind as a destination pheasant hunt, but the Willamete Valley has some excellent opportunities. Troy Rodakowski and Rich Harrod had been looking for an opportunity to bird hunt together for years. A friend’s property near Sweet Home, OR, was the perfect place for an upland bird hunt. And, it was a good time to introduce Brett Boyd to his first pheasant hunt. There’s nothing like upland hunting to bring good friends together.
